Hello,
I'm running a windows XP VM on a Windows 7 host for the purpose of replaying old games, however I'm having some issues with window sizes. I'm hoping to run games in fullscreen, however running the VM in Fullscreen Mode has the game (Curse of Monkey Island) running at a small size which I guess to be it's default resolution in the centre of the screen with mostly black surrounding it. I've found that running the VM in Scale Mode in a maximized window allows me to scale the game to almost the full size of my monitor, however the VM window bar across the top and host taskbar across the bottom of the screen are still present. Is there any way to have the game run fullscreen so as to be over the top of them?
I'm not sure which possible solution would be better:
1) Run in Scale Mode and resize the VM window to the size of my monitor (1680x1050); it is currently 1680x986 when I view the Display Settings tab in XP
2) Run in Fullscreen Mode and resize the resolution of the game; I'm not sure how easy that is.
Thank you,
Miall
