Hello,

I have backuped my win 7 pro x64 working on Lenovo x60s laptop by Acronis True Image Home 2011.

Next I have converted image to the vhd by converting tool in Acronis suite - I have not prepared system in any way eaarlier.

So, what can I do now? System shows bluescreen and error 0xc00000e. In few places I have saw texts about storage problem. ANd it is possible - from Intel sata controller earlier Windows trying to start from vbox virtual device now.

Please tell me what should I do now.

regards

A typical mistake is to image only one partition of the source drive. You need to image the whole drive.

The next most likely error is having a VM whose hardware recipe differs substantially from that expected by the image. E.g. wrong SATA chipset perhaps - try selecting IDE. Also IO APIC needs to be enabled.

I have tried changing IO APIC with SATA controller - w/o result

On the ata controleer problems are the same,
now Im trying on other apic and ata controller

Best not thrash around with the settings: IO APIC should be enabled. Whether the VM needs IDE or SATA disk controller I'm less sure about. The source installation almost certainly used SATA, but that doesn't always mean that the VM can do so. I would try IDE (PIIX4) - I could't quite interpret what you were saying about what you had tried already.
