Hi, I've had trouble locating a solution to this problem because most people are concerned with sharing files between host/guest OS on the same computer.
I own a Dell laptop with Windows XP. I recently acquired a Macbook Pro, where I installed XP through Virtual Box. I would like my virtual XP to be able to access the same files as the Dell XP through a shared network folder.
How do I get the two machines (one real, one virtual) to both see the same shared folder when they are on the same LAN?
Thanks in advance.
Sharing files with another REAL machine, not the host OS

You need to seek out documents on SMB, or Samba, file sharing
