Hello, I'm new in here so I'm going to try as hard as I can to explain what's happening:

I'm trying to install Os X 10.6 running an Iso from my Windows 7 x64 machine, following a tutorial ofver redmondpie on how to install mac os x snow leopard in virtual vox on windows 7

I've gotten to the point where I launch the virtualbox, but there's a warning that pops up saying the following:

"La aceleración hardware VT-x/AMD-V ha sido habilitada, pero no es operacional. Ciertos invitados (por ejemplo, OS/2 y QNX) requieren esta característica.

Asegúrese de que ha habilitado VT-x/AMD-V apropiadamente en la BIOS de su computadora anfitrión."

I know this is spanish, so I translated it to the following:

"VT-x / AMD-V acceleration has been enabled, but it's not operational. Some guests (for example OS/2 & QNX) need this characteristic.

Make sure that you've enabled VT-x/AMD-v properlly on your host pc BIOS"

Now, I've gone to the BIOS but there's nothing I can enable or disable. I've got a intel based bios, with the following characteristics:

idg4510h bios with an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz which has been listed on wikipedias article about VT-x acceleration.

I've got no idea what to do. I'm willing to attach the log files and stuff but the forum says I can't because they are too big and I can't post urls

Thanks in advance guys, I've got no idea about this but I'm sure you can help.

BTW I've tried searching for this error but got no luck with the search function on the forum, that's why I'm posting this new subject. If I have not looked deep enought and this question has been answered please forgive me.
