LSI SAS question

In my VBox Log I am seeing a lot of these messages.

00:00:42.032418 LsiLogic#0: Guest issued CDB {0x12, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x24, 0x0}

Where Bus = 0..127 and Target = 0..2.

Not that I really care too much because it is just scanning for drives on the bus but it delays the startup of the Guest by 20 seconds or so.The Guest in this case is Windows XP or Windows 7. My real question is if there is something I can tune in wither VBox or more likely windows to finish it's scan faster.
