VirtualBox 4.1.20
Windows 7 Pro host
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS guest
Fedora 17 guest
I have installed Guest Additions. I have enabled the Share Clipboard option in each virtual machine's general settings, and set that to "Bidrectional."
I have rebooted my guests several times.
In Ubuntu, I have installed dkms. In Fedora, I have installed gcc. Both of these steps are from Chapter 4 of the VirtualBox manual found online.
What else can I do to get this working?
Thanks
Unable to share clipboard between host and guest

Re: Unable to share clipboard between host and guest
While the guest additions are mounted, the log does not show it as installed.
This should help Howto: Install Linux Guest Additions

Re: Unable to share clipboard between host and guest
Very nice, the online manual I was using must have been outdated, as it didn't mention installing a handful of those packages.
Works now, thanks!
