Clipboard larger text passages

I got a Windows 7 64bit host and run XP32b/W7_32b/debian as guests.

All VM have bridged nics.

running is VB 4.1.20 with guest additions.


Problem:

I can not copy larger passages of texts (e.g from a browser window) from the host (in)to the guest!?

As I recall it once worked. However, at the moment that is a problem and I need it solved. All other settings are default I do not know why I can copy a line but not several lines between host/guest?
