I get the following error when checking for updates from Virtual Box
Unable to obtain the new version information due to the following error:
Connection timed out
I am behind a corporate proxy server- normal web browsing etc is OK but VB does not seem to make it through.

Did you setup your proxy in the VirtualBox preference?
