I've been trying to get my Ubuntu or my Android VMs to access a VPN I have running on the host without any luck.
The VPN works and everything checks out on the host, but if I try to connect to sites I know are restricted in the country I'm in, inside the VM,
the connection fails, indicating that the VPN is not used in the VM.
I've spent quite a lot of time trying to get this to work, including trying to use the Host-only adapter without any luck. Anyone know how to get this to work? Or is it not even possible?
How to get a VM to use a VPN connection on the Host.

VPN connections usually can't be shared. If you want the guest to use a VPN connection set up the VPN client in the guest OS.
