Hello,
I reinstall my Windows 7 x86 and install the lastest version of virtualbox but there is a problem that when I create a new virtual machine virtualbox create two folders. One is empty and cannot be removed. I uninstall this version and install 4.0.4, but the problem is excist. Please tell me how to fix it.

Sorry, you are going to have to provide a more detailed report than that. Telling us the names of the two folders it creates might be a good start, and why you think it's a problem.

Thanks for your help. Of course I will provide more details. There are no matter what is the name of machines. For example I create machine called BackTrack 5 and the programme create two folders named BackTrack 5. When I deleted the machine one of the folder was deleted and second can not be deleted, because the windows told me that the folder is not excist. I think that is a problem because on my second computer I am running 4.0.4 and it create only one folder of virtual machine and remove it when I delete the machine. Please help me

I need the full unambiguous folder names please, including drives and paths.

... though I think we may be talking at cross purposes. If all you want to do is add an existing VM to the GUI, you use Machine|Add... (and select the .vbox file), not "New".

No, I create New virtual machine, not try to add an existing to the gui. Now I create VM called "machine" and there is one folde created not two. Yesterday I created machine called BackTrack 5 R3 and there are created two folders of it but none of them content virtual harddisk. After that I removed the machine and one of the folders was removed and the second can not be removed. PLease see posted pictures. I want to add more, but the forum did not allowed me

And another question: Because first I install the newest version and after that uninstalled and install 4.0.4 how to tolally remove all virtualboxes version in my sistem and install only 4.0.4
