System does not meet recommended requirements

Hello,
I am attempting to download a software program while on virtual box and I am getting the following error:
Your system does not meet the recommended requirements of 2GB Ram and 256 MB Dedicated Video Ram to render High Definition material optimally in muvee Reveal8. Performance may be sluggish when using High Definition material or saving option.

Is there a way to set up virtual box where I won't get this error? I am using a mac os x, and the software is for windows, so I was hoping I would be able to utilize virtual box to download the software. Your help is appreciated.

Thanks!!! :)

That sounds more like a warning - which you can simply ignore - rather than an error. However, just make sure you have installed the GAs (in the guest).

Note however that VMs do not really make good gaming or media platforms: simulated hardware is not the fastest in the world.

Actually that warning will be there even if Guest Additions are installed. The maximum video memory you can allocate to a VM is 128 MB.

Well, in fact if you select two monitors it will go to 256MB VRAM - but that would be a pointless waste of memory since it's the host which does the rendering, not the guest. The check itself is a bug - invalid implementation assumption.

Thanks for your responses. I installed the software, but the problem is when I launched the program, it stayed on for a few minutes and then I got a not responding message and it just doesn't seem to load up anymore, but thanks for trying to help.
