I have a Host operating system of Windows 7 Professional (64bit) and are currently running a Windows 7 Enterprise (32bit) guest in Virtual box. This is running very fine except for one tiny but irritating issue, that someone might have experience and know the cause for. It freezes about once every five to ten minutes for about one minute. I always get back to where I was before. The guest OS is using 3072MB of ram and 2 cores and my Guest OS has 16GB ram and 4 (8 hyper-threading) cores.
I'm pretty sure the guest is somehow running in the background, its just that I can't access it. I usually run the guest with a sensitive VPN connection that would be upset if it was disconnected for a minute or so. This problem also occur whether I run the VPN or not, so that is probably not the issue.
Guest OS freezing?
