Use windows 7 virtual machine in Virtualbox?
I would like to know if I can somehow import or convert my virtual machines from Windows 7 to be used in virtualbox. In windows 7 the file extension for my virtual machine disks are "vmcx" and I can't find any mention of how to run these with virtualbox, if it is even possible?

You can use VHD disk image files, but not XP mode control files.

Yes, the VHD file was of course what I needed to use. I'm mainly used to the Virtual PC 2007 and the vmcx file was just the config file. My mistake...

One more issue now is that the Windows 7 (32-bit) installed on the drive blue-screen as soon as it tries to load. Do I have to do something else to start a Windows previously installed with Virtual PC or is this not possible?

Ah... never mind my second question... I had to mount my vhd drive as an IDE drive and not a SATA drive. Now it loads the operating system as it should.
