Consumo de Procesador

Hola, he instalado una maquina virtual con windows 2k, poseo un microprocesador core i7, pensando que iba a mejorar la performance de la maquina virtual, dado que la misma requiere de mucho procesamiento.
Ahora ocurre que la maquina virtual consume el 100% del microprocesador, mientras que el host solo esta usando el 12%, mi pregunta es ?Como puedo hacer para aumentar la disponibilidad de procesador hacia la maquina virtual ?

SMP requires hardware-v being enabled in you hosts bios and io apic being enabled in the guest setting. Warning this will more than likely require a re-install of the guest to work properly.

Gracias por la respuesta, efectivamente, esta habilitado desde el bios el hhardware-v y tambien el io apic.
No he reinstalado el sistema operativo, dado que el mismo es de utilidad y , de ser posible , no tendria que reinstalar..

existe alguna manera de habilitar para que utilice mas procesador ?

Use the guest settings and give the guest another processor. See screen shot below.
