ERROR: Could not find an open hard disk with UUID

Post by localhost1 »

Hello all.
I am getting this error code after making a backup copy of my VM:

Failed to open virtual machine located in G:/Program Files/VirtualBox/Win XP work/Win XP work.vbox.

Could not find an open hard disk with UUID {250a2925-6bc2-499c-ad13-94efe1851b30}.

Result Code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x80BB0001)
Component: VirtualBox
Interface: IVirtualBox {c28be65f-1a8f-43b4-81f1-eb60cb516e66}

Las thing I've done was shotdown my working VM, make a copy of it to safe place and then boot it up again (from original place were it was, not from the copy place). I did not change anything with my VM. The CloneVDI utility did not help, it just stop responding on 100% cloning... This is realy annoying..

What is "G:\Program Files\VirtualBox" ?

Unusual drive letter, data stored in (implied by name) program folders... does not inspire confidence that backup was done correctly.

Logs from before and after the event might help (posted as .zip please).
