I have installed VirtualBox-3.1.6-59338-Win to operate any os on Virtual Machine and i am new to Virtualbox .
I installed ubuntu 11.05 as the guest os on the virtual machine and xp as the host os.

I want to access my usb on guest machine But i was not able to access it.

I want to know that how i shall access usb on ubuntu .

if anyone knows it kindly reply to this post.

There is no Ubuntu 11.05. 11.04 or 11.10 maybe.

Uninstall the old version 3.1.6 and install the newest version 4.1.18 of vbox with extension pack.

It makes no sense to search for errors in old versions.
