Hello Everyone,

I am trying to use one of our application developed for windows platform on a MAC book pro.

Component used:
1) Machine type : Mac book Pro
2) Mac os: Os X 10.6.8
3) Virtual box with extension pack.
4) USB Device: Custom made programmed as HID device.

The Virtual box can able to identify the custom made device. The guest can not able to detect it.
Intern it says "Failed to attach the USB device "XXXX" to the VM. usb device is "XXXX" with UUID {0F543468 - A12A - 4FOD - 9588 - C6258B3B41F8} is in use by some on else..

Can anyone help me to get rid of this error?

Regards,
Ananad

Make sure you have installed the extension pack, enable USB support in the VM, then create a filter to match the device. See the user manual for details Also see here.
