Hi. I'm using Windows 8 RTM 64-bit. The guest system is Windows Xp Pro 32-bit.
The problem is: When I run Warcraft III, graphics is broken. (u can see the attach file).

I tried both the latest stable version of Virtual Box and the beta version.
I tried to reinstall Guest Additions and DirectX 3D but it didn't work.

Hope you can help me to solve this problem soon.
Thanks.

Running VBOX on a not (finally) supported host os and starting a 3d game?

For such things there is nothing you can do instead of installing the newest vga driver on the host and for xp the guest additions in safe mode like proposed in the user manual.

If you have done it so and it does not work, then use another environment. Like Win 7 native and the game in Win7.

Besides, why even trying to run Warcraft 3 in an XP guest while still using a Windows host?
As far as I found out the sound problem of the Win 8 consumer preview should be fixed already.

Thank you. I'll wait for the latest VGA driver supports Windows 8 and a newer VirtualBox fully supports Windows 8.
