My internet connection was working fine until I added a new guest to my VB (windows server) and now my Ubuntu guest won't connect to the internet. Could you please advice me what could be wrong? Thank you!
Attached is my VB log.

inet addr:192.168.11.12 Bcast:192.168.11.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
The address scheme that has been assigned to the guest is *not* the same as expected. 10.0.2.*
The top address would suggest a Bridged connection and not NAT.

Thanks for looking into this, Perryg. What would you suggest to do? (I have no clue, obviously).

First thing I would do is set the guest to use Bridged and see if that fixes your issue.

I tried all available adapter options but nothing seems to work

Then I would suggest that you set the guest settings to use NAT and then set the guest to use dhcp.
