Looking for some help with VB/Diablo 3

Post by MrDraper »

I am currently looking for some help setting up my Virtual Box with Diablo 3, however I am running into a few problems. I already installed XP and Diablo 3, but I need to some further assistance.

Can someone please contact me via skype? We can talk about how I can compensate you in some form.

Thanks.

Its decibed in the manual howto install GA in safe mode and give more VGARAM to the guest.

There is nothing more what you can do.

And then there a 2 ways. It may work or not. If not, then start the game native via dual boot.

Remember: VMs are not made for gaming.

If you need specific help, then it may be worth your while contacting Oracle and paying for support via legitimate channels.
Most people here are not Oracle employees and offer their time for free as part of the community effort.

As to install the GAs (for better graphics etc), this is very clearly documented here. If you are having problems, then please state which parts are causing you trouble and people may be able to help (remember to search the forums for the answer first).

When it comes to the likes of Diablo3, you may be better off using WINE/PlayOnLinux as the VM may have too much of an overhead.
