fixing letter of shared directory

How can I fix the partition letter of the shared directory inside windows virtual machine windows XP hosted by windows 7.
shared on 'vboxsrv' F:\

I need to fix the letter F:\ and keept it F:\ what ever devices have been attached .

net use x: \\vboxsvr\sharename -p

x=drive letter
sharename=name you gave the share

See users manual Guest additions -> shared folders
The only thing extra is the -p that makes it persistent.

What about deleting the temporary partition created for the same shared partition with another partition letter other than F:

What I mean I found two occurrences for the 2 partition
shared on 'vboxsrv' (E:)
shared on 'vboxsrv' (F:)

Remove the auto-mount. (Do not delete the share from within the guest) You will need to reboot the guest at least once.
