Twin View Dual Monitor In Kubuntu Guest On Windows 7 Host?

I have a Win7 box with an NVidia dual head card (GTX 275) and have installed Kubntu 12.04 as a guest on a VitualBox VM. I have configured VirtualBox to recognize two monitors. This it does.

The question: Is there a way to get TwinView-like behaviour with dual monitors on a Linux/Kubuntu guest in VirtualBox?

I know TwinView specifically is not supported because the VB guest doesn't actually see the real hardware, and only sees the virtual graphics card/driver. I'm looking for the same behaviour however. I have seen mention of this possibility for Windows Guests running on Linux Hosts, but nothing that explains how to do it for Linux Guests (specifically (K)Ubuntu) on Windows Hosts.

Instead of acting like one large monitor the width of two monitors like can be done with NVidia TwinView, I can only get the system to show two identical monitors, which is kind of pointless. That is both monitors show exactly the same thing and act like two single monitors mirroring each other side by side... like I said, pointless on the same desktop. The reason most people use two monitors is for the added screen real estate. So obviously I'm not seeing it.

TIA

The hardware provides two monitors. It's the guest OS which decides what to display on them. I assume you installed the guest additions.
