Lagging Mouse

Ok, this issue is a little complicated, and I'm trying to see if I'm the only one having this issue.
I have a Windows XP guest on my Mac host, and I'm starting to put some of my old PC games on there. Right now I have RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe on there and it runs just find mostly. There's a small bug where holding the right mouse button (or secondary click on the mac
) to look around causes you to look around way too fast, but that can be fixed by disabling mouse integration. Dissabling mouse integration is preferable for this game anyways because I also like to push the mouse against the edge of the screen to look around.
Recently, I decided to see if I could use a screen recorder on the host to record RCT as I played it, but I came across a weird issue. Once I started RCT, my screen recorder, and disabled mouse integration (and only after all three), the mouse starts to lag behind me actually moving it. The mouse seems to slow down and moves even once I've stopped moving the mouse. Sometimes it realizes that it's lagging and pops into the spot it's supposed to be at after a second of moving too slow. It makes playing the game impossible. I have tried different recorders (ScreenFlow and Camtasia 2 trials, along with a complicated setup with CamTwist) along with different mice. I'm thinking about submitting a ticket, but I want to know if this is exclusive to the host, guest, game, ect. or if there's a known fix for this before submitting a ticket.
I have tried a lot to get this to work. I have enabled and disabled 2D and 3D Acceleration and enabled and disabled Absolute Pointing Device. I have 8GB RAM and 512MB VRAM on my machine, and have tried with 1024MB and 2048MB RAM and 32MB and 64MB VRAM on my guest. I can't think of anything else to try. Please Help or tell me if you are having a similar issue with what OS your host and guest is (in case I submit a ticket).
