global network setting? - Solved

When I select Host-Only networking in a guest's Settings dialog, the Name: drop-down list box says Not selected. Help for that field says, in part:

...You can create and remove adapters using the global network settings in the virtual machine manager window.

Now, assuming that the virtual machine manager window to which this refers is the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager, I have searched everywhere for a global network setting to no avail. Where is it?
