I've got 2 (Real) Disk: the C:\ contains 110 GB in solid state, i use it for my personal thing; and D:\ , it contains 930 Hibrid GB.
I install VirtualBox on

D:\Programmi\VirtualBox, but the virual disks are create in

C:\Users\user\VirtualBox VMs\(OS Folder)\(name of the disk)

I want cut the .vdi files in an other folder in D:\ disk, i choose the current .vdi position but after the choose there's a message:

Failed Opening of the hard drive D:\Programmi\VirtualBox\HD\Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview.vdi.

Cannot register the hard disk 'D:\Programmi\VirtualBox\HD\Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview.vdi' {3f3dbc47-fe16-4f0b-a9d8-03b2e22a7854} because a hard disk 'C:\Users\Utente\VirtualBox VMs\Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview\Mac OS X Mountain Lion Developer Preview.vdi' with UUID {3f3dbc47-fe16-4f0b-a9d8-03b2e22a7854} already exists.

Exit Code: E_INVALIDARG (0x80070057)
Component: VirtualBox
Interface: IVirtualBox {c28be65f-1a8f-43b4-81f1-eb60cb516e66}

I can't use Disk C:\ because it's full. (only 768 MB free/110 GB total)
The same error appared when i try to do a link with the new position.

Please help Me! :cry: :cry:

Post the guests log file (as an attachment)
See Online Users Manual for the location of the file.

The question of how to move VMs between disk drives has been asked many times - a search should have found many examples. For example here.
