Folks,

I installed a RHEL 6+ Guest VM in the Windows 7 Host, along with the Extension Pack and Guest additions, and Now I have display sizing problems at Boot, and the VM just hangs. Examining the log file I get the following error with 2D and 3D enabled;

ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80bb0005) aIID={09eed313-cd56-4d06-bd56-fac0f716b5dd} aComponent={Display} aText={Could not take a screenshot (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED)}, preserve=false

And then;

The displays size seems to be re-sizing to fullscreen and then flips to regular size and back and forth, And then the VM just hangs;

I am therefore forced to send an AHCI Power Reset to Shutdown the VM. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Moving you to "Linux Guests", since the host OS doesn't seem relevant to your questions.

Btw, "2D acceleration" is only supported by Windows guests.

Finally, please don't paraphrase the log. We need the entire log from a problem session - uploaded as a .zip attachment please.
