First sorry if my thread is in wrong place
I have VBox running on a Windows Server 2008 Standard host with a Windows Server 2003 guest in it. I would like to give the Guest OS (Win2003) a dedicated IP
I have 3 IPs given by the ISP (provider). How may I use/install one of them into VBox for the Guest OS?
This is needed for me because my software doesn't support multiple cores but i can run it in multiple instances this gives me advantage to use more than one cpu core.
Thank you in advance
How to assign dedicated ip to guest host.

Re: How to assign dedicated ip to guest host.
Have a look at the networking chapter of the Vbox manual.
You need bridged networking.
Setting the ip address inside the guest works exactly the same as in any other PC.
