BSoD on starting vmdk image in virtualbox

Post by rajbharmal »

I have just created vmdk image of my installed window 7 64 bit system. now i m trying to run this image in virtualbox but it is not letting me to run. i m getting BSoD just after the Starting Windows 7 loading screen. tried even to repair but no use. nothing is happening. Getting same error. Tried every other options i.e. safeboot, system restore, debugging mode, etc but getting same BSoD with error 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A9928,0xFFFFFFFFC0000034,0x0000000000000000,0x0000000000000000)

I even removed SATA controller and attached harddisk in IDE Controller with PIIX4 un-checking I/O Host cache. But no use. same error is coming.

Log file is also attached here.. please if any one knows any solution then plz help me.

There's no point in checking the log - your problem is with the guest, not with VirtualBox.

Stop 0x7B usually means inaccessible hard disk, often meaning that the disk controller type changed - but you can use Google to search for that stop message. If you include the term "site:forums.virtualbox.org" then you'll find previous discussions of it on these forums.

What did you use, VMWare Converter? And are you aware that Win7 will want to be reactivated, which will invalidate any previous activation?
