Shared Folders or local folders in the guest?

Re: many defects with windows XP under
My guess is that he means that if he has an Explorer window open in the guest, looking at a shared folder, and he copies or moves a file into the host side of the shared folder, then the guest Explorer window does not immediately refresh. Personally I wouldn't expect it to, seeing as how auto refresh doesn't always happen even between two Explorer windows on the same PC - but what the hey. IMHO questions about how Microsoft software works is best directed at Microsoft.
