It is remove. You will be asked to delete after you click that and you should say no. But either way if you did what I said and backed everything up you will still be able to recover. Did you write down all of the settings?

I did an IP CONFIG, and I have the IP address of the Ethernet Adapter VirtualBox Host Only Network:

IPV4 address: 192.168.56.1

Is that what I need to note down?

ah got it. did ipconfig /all and wrote down the mac address for the virtualbox machine

With VBox closed down, rename the ".vbox-tmp" file to ".vbox".
