How to set up that between the host & the guest for copying & pasting the things?

I don't know what you mean by a buffer, but see the user manual for a description of shared folders, which is how users typically copy files between host and guest.

If you want to copy/paste text to/from your virtual machine look for shared clipboard in user's manual.

In both cases you have to install the guest additions.
