alfa awus036nh with backtrack5 problems

alfa awus036nh with backtrack5 problems

Hi

I just downloaded virtual box and installed backtrack5 r2 as guest system with mid 2010 MAC Lion as host system ... I downloaded the extension pack and the guest additions after that I tried to use ALFA awus036nh inside the backtrack but it didn't work I added the filters and it didn't work I unplug it then start the virtual box then plug it also didn't work ... I almost tried to use every solution I found and I've trying for a month now ... I even changed the network settings from NAT to bridge and it didn't work and every time I choose the wireless alfa from usb devices it show this message :


Failed to attach the USB device Ralink 802.11 n WLAN [0101] to the virtual machine Backtrack.

USB device 'Ralink 802.11 n WLAN' with UUID {1843aa9e-f0b1-4dbc-a94d-d18fdd454549} is in use by someone else.

I take it that "alfa awus036nh" is some kind of USB flash drive. Make sure the extension pack is installed, make sure USB is enabled in the VM settings, make sure you have added a filter which will redirect that USB device to the VM... and try plugging the USB device in after the VM has finished booting up.

If you continue to have problems then post the VM log, as a zipped attachment please. The VM log file is called "VBox.log", and can be found in the "Logs" subfolder of your VM folder.

I tried everything you suggest but nothing happened
and the alfa awus036nh is a wireless adapter not a usb flash drive

I downloaded and installed extension pack and I added a filter and I enabled USB 2 in virtual box and I tried to the device before and after the VM has finished booting up
the only thing happened that when I plug the wireless adapter the mac freezes and the device has this green light it suppose to flash but it keeps on all the time and when I unplug the mac freeze for 10 seconds then continue to work

I uploaded the attachment as a zip file as you said please have a look at it
