Hi,
Did you ever run Win 08 server fine inside the Virtualbox? I don’t know why I have got this, when starting Win 08 enterprise server?
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Win08.
Cannot open host device 'G:\' for readonly access. Check the permissions of that device (VERR_ACCESS_DENIED).
Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {1968b7d3-e3bf-4ceb-99e0-cb7c913317bb}
Many Thanks & Best Regards,
HuaMin

Thanks. As I cannot access the OS inside Virtualbox, how can I see the log? G is the CDRW.

The log is kept on the host: see "VBox.log", stored in the "Logs" subfolder of your VM folder. Post this here as a zipped attachment please.
You might like to try unmounting your host "G:" drive from the VM first.

Thanks a lot.
Sorry for that it was a hurry yesterday and then I planned to re-setup the Windows guest. I did remove the previous Windows guest.
Now I try to choose one Win 08 setup iso file called
7601.17514.101119-1850_x64fre_server_eval_en-us-GRMSXEVAL_EN_DVD
But I’ve got
“Fatal: No bootable medium found! System halted”
Why?
Here is the current log file

Many Thanks & Best Regards,

"No bootable medium found" means exactly what it says - there are no bootable disks attached to the VM, and therefore there is nothing for the VM to do.
Either the ISO you mention is not correctly mounted in the VM, or it isn't bootable (I see no indication in the log that an ISO is mounted - I do see your "WIN03.vdi" file, and that is all).
Also: I notice in the log that you are allocating more RAM to the VM than you have available on your host. I suggest you give the VM no more than 2GB RAM.

Good day mpack,
I already mounted the ISO file by also putting 2 GB ram there but I’ve got the same issue. Here is the current log

If you have correctly assigned the .iso file to the DVD drive of the vm and it cannot be read, the .iso file must be corrupt.
The "no bootable medium ..." message means that the vm cannot find anything to boot from. Either nothing is mounted or the mounted file cannot be read.

Thanks a lot. Then which should be the real reason?

The most recent log shows the ISO mounted in the VM. That also implies that the VirtualBox validation checks saw nothing wrong with the ISO formatting. So, that also implies that the error message means that the DVD is not bootable. That would be either because the DVD has no boot data, or you have disabled CD/DVD in the boot order in the VM settings.
It is easy to prove if the ISO is bootable: burn the ISO to a physical DVD-R, then attempt to boot a real PC with it: of course you wouldn't allow it to go all the way.
