I have an image *.iso containing an operative system and I would to launch and build a virtual machine on Vbox 4.1.18
In the main settings I don't find options for CD/DVD, I've seen many tutorials of previous VBOX versions showing them but in this one I can't find.
Ty for help
How to launch an iso operative system on latest version?

Create a virtual machine first. Then go to the VM settings, Storage section, click the CD/DVD entry and use the panel on the right to add an ISO image.

tyvm for your reply...can you also tell me which is the easiest way to move/exchange files through VBOX and the hosting PC? (both using XP pro)

Install the Guest Additions and use Shared Folders. See the user manual for a description of both.
This assumes that the guest OS is supported by VirtualBox, though you have yet to indicate what that guest OS might be.
