Hello,

I am very new to Linux and Networking.

I have installed CentOS 5 . Host is Windows7.
VM Workstation version - 7.1.5

Connection type is NAT.

I am able to ping from guest to host but not from host to guest.

I know the subnets dont match and I have to make it the same.

Can someone please tell me how I should go about it?

Thanks in advance!

Try to read the networking chapter of the Vbox manual, your problem has nothing to do with different subnets (which are normal for NAT).
NAT networking only allows connection from the guest to the outside and no connection from the outside to the guest.
You have several options here depending what you want to do: host only or bridged networking or even more advanced, port forwarding of selected network ports to the guest.
