Hi Guys,

I'm wanting to P2V a win 2003 server, i'm going to use the VMWare Converter for this. My question is, while I'm diong this process what happens to the physical server? Will the physical continue to work? Will it shutdown all it's programmes while it's converting/copying?

I want to P2V it so I can play around with it as a VM but keep the Physical server up.

That rather depends on the imaging tool, doesn't it? We don't answer "VMWare Converter" support questions here!
