Re: External USB HD

Hi
New to this forum.
Just spent the last 7 hours searching for solutions to solve my usb issue.
Environment:
Host OS-> MacOS 10.7.4 (OSX Lion) x86_64
VirtualBox 4.1.18
VBOX ext: 4.1.18r78361
VM's OS-> Ubuntu 10.04 amd 64bit
I already set up the filters. As you can see, VBox says the devices have been captured: On Ubuntu, I tried checking both /media/ and /mnt/ directories, and my usb devices are not present. I feel like I'm close, but I just need to find it.
Using the lsusb command, this printed out:
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 80ee:0021
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
So even though Vbox says the devices are attached, it is not in ubuntu.
Help please
