Hi,
Before today, my Windows XP guest's screen would resize automatically when I changed the window size of the guest. After installing Windows updates to it today, it no longer does. I tried upgrading to the latest 4.1.6, and reinstalled Guest Additions, but it did not help. Any suggestions? Unfortunately, I use this thing for work, and need to get it back to normal relatively soon.

Re: Windows XP: Can't resize screen after Windows Update
Just to clarify, I'm running VirtualBox under Windows 7. The guest is Windows XP Pro, and the updates that appear to have broken VirtualBox were the XP updates.

Guest additions would be the reason. Have you looked to see if auto-resize is still turned on?
host+G toggle or click the view tab.

Auto-resize... um, that would be it. Thank you Perryg!
