Hi,
My Host is running on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit Desktop. Latest Virtualbox.
I have installed Server 2003 SP1 as a guest. This is running without any issues. When I try to install SP2, the installation begins well. When attempting to backup the current settings the guest hangs briefly (at plugin.ocx) before closing completely. The system status is then registered as "Aborted". On restarting the system, it boots from a snapshot I made prior to installing the SP.
Does anybody know why this is & how I can solve this? Till now Virtualbox has always just worked with any guest (various Linux distros, XP, Win 7 etc.).

Are you sure this is a VirtualBox issue?
Post the guests log file (as an attachment) after a crash.

No, I'm not sure. Virtualbox is, however, the only thing I am using on that machine. Will post the log in a while.Perryg wrote:Are you sure this is a VirtualBox issue?
