guest randomly loses network

Greetings, unsure if this is a guest or host issue. In this case I'm using OS X as host, centOS 6 as guest. For reasons entirely unexplained the guest will
occasionally lose network connectivity via one of it's two configured interfaces (eth0, as shown below). I'm not running iptables, I've looked at the router firewall logs...
I will check the OS X firewall.

Is this a known issue?
