Using Mac Bluetooth mouse on guest Windows XP
Using Mac Bluetooth mouse on guest Windows XP
I am new to Virtual Box, in the process of installing Windows XP on my Mac Host running OS X Lion. I use a Bluetooth mouse and a Bluetooth keyboard on this Mac. I have not yet installed the guest -Windows XP - operating system. It suddenly occurred to me that the Windows OS may not be able to function with the Bluetooth devices. So I would like some advice - should I connect a USB wired mouse and a USB wired keyboard before I try to load up Windows XP? Thank you for your time........

The guest should use what ever the host is using. Just be careful to *not allow the guest to access them directly.

I expect that none of the applications you run on your host have to be told what connector technology your mouse and keyboard use. After all, that's the business of the host OS. The VirtualBox application is no exception, I don't really know why people ever think that it might be!
