Creating a VM for Windows 7
How can I create a VM for Windows 7 without a Windows 7 installation DVD? (My notebook came with Windows 7 Pro pre-installed)

Practically speaking, you need an installation CD/DVD. You can image (e.g. with Disk2VHD) the Win7 that's already on the hard disk, but you may have difficulty getting it activated, and getting it to boot without access to the device drivers on the setup DVD... is not something I'd like to try.
