When I am in a virtual machine, sometimes, the mouse seems to have a mind of its own. It moves around with or without me moving the mouse and when I do move the mouse, it's draggy and unresponsive. If immediately after the install of the guest OS the mouse is fine, then it's fine every time. If it's draggy after the install, then it's draggy every time even after I restart that system. This has happened with installs of both Windows XP and Ubuntu (although I have had successful Windows XP installs where this doesn't happen; it seems to be random). Any advice would be appreciated. It's annoying to have to install OSes again and again until I get one that doesn't have a mouse problem,

Usually installing the guest additions (in the guest) solves this issue.
