Host Cannot Connect to Network

VirtualBox 4.1.12r77245
Host: Windows 7
Guest: Windows Server 2008 R2

I am serving web pages via IIS on my guest. I would like to be able to browse them from the host. This fails.

Guest is using a NAT connection, via which I can browse web pages.

Host cannot browse the pages served by the guest.

I have no idea at all how to make this work or where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Port forwarding using NAT, Bridged if there is a router in the LAN, or add a host-only adapter if no router.
See Chapter 6 in your VirtualBox users guide.

I can't follow the users guide at all. Is there a simplified tutorial?

There seems to be a lot of youtube videos that cover this just search Google.

It really depends on what your expectation is, but if the only requirement is you want to view the pages on the host, just add another adapter in the network section and set it to host-only.
