Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me... have been using an older version of vb successfully for quite some time but needed to update to the latest version (4.1.14 -77440) as I need to test windows 8 for my company.

after installing the latest version, I received following errors when attempting to run vb

I looked the issue up here first before posting and found this

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=49448

which is the exact same problem I've encountered. I have tried all the things recommended in the above link by mpack but its still the same. When I reinstall the old version that now doesnt work also. The only way I can get the old version to work is if I do a system restore.

I know its not a corrupt download of the latest version as I have installed using the same file on a different pc in the company and it works fine with no errors. After doing a system restore on my pc, I tried uninstalling my old version first then putting the new version on and I even tried deleting all my snapshots before installing the latest version but it still wont run. I am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

Can anyone suggest anything to troubleshoot? I really need to resolve this as soon as I can.

Cheers

Ross

Same issue here. Just upgraded VirtualBox and now it won't run. I don't use the app too much so I'll probably just uninstall it for now.
