Joined new Active Directory Domain now failed opening VM

Failed to open virtual machine located in D:/Data/Oracle/VirtualBox/Virtual Machines/GANDALF.vbox.
Could not find an open hard disk with UUID {bf6c4e97-2ccd-46d3-aae0-9ca69bdaada6}.
Result Code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x80BB0001)

"All" I did was join a new Active Directory Domain. Now I am receiving the error above. The VBOX and VHD are still intact as far as I know. Is there anything I can do to recover from that?

So I can setup a new VBOX apparently and re-use the VHD. This is simple enough to do. It's a shame I can't use the old one though. No biggie...

You can try turning off the network adapter (uncheck enable) and see if that will allow it to boot. Then see if you can repair the problem.
Other than a conflict because of joining the domain I can't think of anything else that would cause this off hand.
Where did you get the image.VHD? Did you create it or download it?
But this "Could not find an open hard disk with UUID {bf6c4e97-2ccd-46d3-aae0-9ca69bdaada6}." usually means more happened than just a conflict. How did you shut the guest down? Anything that you might be leaving out that we should know?
