After turning 3D & 2D acceleration on, it worked fine for me (as I opened the disc's content and manually ran the amd64 installation).
Also, didn't see a thread on this so... has anyone had any issues with Windows Server 8 and VirtualBox?

I just wanted to say that for me, with 3D & 2D acceleration off, they would NOT install on Windows Server 8.
