I was running VirtualBox 3.2.10 for a long time as my VMs were rock solid under it. I decided to ungrade to 4.1.12 as I wanted to try a Windows 8 VM and thought I should be on a current release of VitualBox. Unfortunately, My VMs crash when left in an idle state under 4.1.12. So I need to go back to 3.2.10.
I have already installed the 4.1.12 extensions in a number of VMs. Do I need to uninstall it from each of them before I switch back or can I switch back to 3.2.10 and then revert the extensions the first time I use each VM?
