Hi All,
HOST OS: WIN 7(32 bit)
Guest OS: WIN XP(32 bit)
I have delpoyed the java application(tomcat server) on guest OS.
When I try to access the application from HOST, by providing the IP address of guest OS followed by application name- I am not able to do it.
The same I tried vice -versa, I am stuck.
Locally I am able to access the java app.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Anees

Thanks for yur reply.
I have connected my HOST pc with wired boradband connection.
I am not sure, if firewall is turned ON in my GUEST pc, let me check and get back to you.

Perryg,
I checked both my HOST(WIN 7) and GUEST(WIN XP), the firewall is turned off.
I am connecting XP via NAT

You would need to use Bridged if there is a router in your LAN or add a host-only virtual adapter if not .
