OK, same problem as I and others have reported with versions of VBox later than 4.0.14 -- trying to run more than one guest at a time.
Crash report attached. It's a "localhost crash" that showed up flagging the VM as "Aborted" in VBoxManager.
I kept the first VM running (it's still running, doing a long chore) and I reopened and reclosed the second VM and got "Aborted" again without a second crash report appearing. I reopened and closed the second VM a third time and it closed normally.
At least it's not consistent every time, with this VBox (it was, with earlier versions)
More news as it happens.
